(daughter-in-law's) son , wedding . the 'son' is the (daughter-in-law's ex-husband's son) but her current husband treated him like is own flesh and blood son . so I am related to them becos we're 'distant cousins' . isn't it interesting ? like you've never seen them before and suddenly your mum told you that you're somehow blood related ?

ytd was like a family gathering , though it's a pity my sister have to attend her boss wedding so she couldn't attend this wedding and my bro gotta work plus ytd he went to his friend’s wedding . so ytd only my mum , my father's sister daughter
(my immediate cousin) and her bf came on behalf of my auntie cos she is staying in Malaysia . imagine only 3 of us that came on behalf of my grandfather who is weak , and staying at penang . haha . if he and all his children , and grandchildren came , it will be even more complicated and all the parents will tell their kids who is who . and they will go like this ' I cant rmb who the hell is that HAHA ! . my mum kept introducing me to all the distant relatives which I can hardly remember all of them . I didn't even see some of them before ! or maybe I did , and even if I did , I think I was still a baby .

My father was close to many of his aunties and uncles , many dote on him .
And becos of that , they were all good to me and my family .
Its really touching , when you know that your dad is gone and still they are there for me & mum & sibs . tears were about to roll off my cheeks ! but I couldn't or else mummy will be even more sad . I can see from her watery eyes , every now and then she cried , and sometimes at night when she goes to sleep . you don't have to feel pity for me . this is all fate . almost everyone said the same thing to me ' take good care of your mummy ' . and I will always reply ' I will ' .

Well another thing is that , I got to see my distant cousins I used to play with when we were young . they are both older than me , the girl is sec 4 next year and her brother is sec 3 next year . their names are phalicia and glean , I don't know the spelling of their names so it might be wrong . I know phalicia's name start with P cos I remember asking my bro why her name starts with P and not F , he answered then why your name Stephanie is P and not F . haha . so yeah I still can remember . haha . I call her sha sha for short , and I call her brother glean glean . I haven't see them for many years already , and now we hardly talk to each other anymore . haha ! she's really pretty , but I must say she's really short , she's shorter than me and also small size . she wore a pretty pretty dress . Glean is also short but handsome . He wore all black plus a skull tie from topshop I think , haha so emo . My mum said that they're short cos both of their mum and dad are also quite short uh . her mum is pretty , she look so young . ! Her grandfather is my grandfather's younger brother . and her grandfather love my father a lot , cos when my father first came to Singapore , he worked in my grandfather bus travel company , then my grandfather's brother know that my father is capable and hardworking so he doted on him a lot . before the desert came , my mum bring me to see him cos it will be rude if we don't greet him cos he dote on my dad so much . And it is basic manners to just go to the other table and say hello right . ? then he held my hand like my grandfather's cum father's style and kept saying that I took after my dad's genes , my tiny 'dan yan pi' eyes , my mouth , my face look like my dad . He looks sad , maybe he misses daddy . he have 2 wives . my mum say we're on the first wife side so I don’t have to greet the younger one . and like WOAH , the 2nd wife put so much make-up luh . like go opera sia ! but her daughter is pretty , my mum says she so bitchy like the mother . haha . she's same age with my sis . so can you imagine , 23 years old and sha sha and glean glean have to call her auntie . their family damn young luh . I remember those times playing with sha sha and glean glean a lil . there was once glean play the mini lion dance thingy . haha . then jump on the bed .
Then they came to my mac Donald birthday party when im 7 , haha .
Then there are games and stuff , sha sha said to glean to let me go first cos im younger than them . LOL . I love them hell loads cos I rmb wanting them to be in my team . they were my bestest pals then .

Then other aunties and uncles called me ' Japanese girl ' some in hokkien ' jipoon kia ' . haha . my mum told me about her past with my dad , when they were dating , she used to go to my grandfather's brother house to watch movies and she is close with my dad's cousins which is my grandfather's brother kids , a pair of identical twins (they're ard same age as my sis and they’re not married !!!! ) , a guy (married with 3 kids) , and including sha sha's mother , one of the girl passed away few years back . how sad right and she's very young and not married too . the guy's daughter have the same Chinese name as me plus same surname ' Hui Fen ' . she's 10 years old . she didn't attend the wedding so I didn't get to see her . I never see her before ! and my mum and her dad were talking about my great-grand-mother grave thingy , got two ' Hui Fen s '
And they thought carved wrongly , haha !

so anyway its very complicated , this distant family stuff . and its really interesting too ! hahahaha . my mum is so busy ytd night ! cos many people chat with her , and they are all my dad’s friends . really good friends . my dad was popular , many many many people know him . he is very exposed . he know singapore's government too . and blah blahs .
so overall dinner was great . I managed to finish all the food up for the first time ! before the dinner I had sushi , 3 inch of subway , chilli crab Maggie noodle and some sweets (nerds) , and I actually can finish up the food . hohoho , I told my sister when we were back in the hotel ,

I am such a pig . haha !
